Representative from Dallas county, was born in Polk county, Iowa, February 22, 1866. His father was born in Ireland and his mother in New York state. His parents, in the autumn of 1866, moved to a farm in Dallas county, which is still the residence of Mr. Brady. Was educated in the rural schools of Dallas county, in the Perry high school and attended the State College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts at Ames in 1886 and 1887. He served as county surveyor of Dallas county for one term. Has devoted his entire life to agriculture except the two years he was county surveyor. Elected representative in 1910. Re-elected in 1912. Re-elected in 1914. A republican in politics.
