Representative from Humboldt county, was born October 15, 1890. Lived with his parents on a farm near Bode, Iowa, until twenty-one years of age. Attended the rural schools at Bode, and Luther College at Decorah. Was elected assistant cashier of the State Savings Bank at Bode, in 1913, and cashier the following year. Married Lottie J. Alstad at Decorah in 1915. Was elected representative in 1918. A republican in politics.
