Representative from Marion county, was born in Marion county, and a resident of this county all his life. Graduated from the law department of the State University of Iowa in 1903, and engaged in the practice of law at Pella and Knoxville. Was a member of Company 3, 3rd Battalion, C.O.T.S. for about three months, and was in the service at the time of election to office. Elected in 1918. A republican in politics.
