Representative from Boone county, was born in Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, near Washington, D. C., September 4th, 1878. Has been a resident of Iowa since 1900. Was engaged in operating department of railroad work for several years; later engaged in banking business and for last five years publisher of Ogden Reporter. Married Anna B. Clark, December 25th, 1906. Have two children, Virginia, age 8, Clark, age 5. Member Congregational church, Knight Templar Mason. Elected representative in 1916, re-elected in 1918. Republican in politics.

Republican in politics.
