Representative from Johnson county, was born at Bloomfield, Iowa, on September 19th, 1888. Graduated from the Southern Iowa Normal at Bloomfield, Iowa, in 1907, and from the College of Law of the State University of Iowa, in 1910, and has practiced the profession of Law at Iowa City since admission. Was city solicitor for four years. Discharged from military service of United States, November, 1917. Elected state representative in 1918. A democrat in politics. Unmarried.
