Representative from Cedar county, was born February 14, 1881, at West Branch, Iowa. Attended the West Branch High School and State University of Iowa. Was married to C. Rose Pettis, May 5, 1903. She having died July 9, 1917, was again married to Clara May Rose on March 15, 1919. Elected to thirty-eighth general assembly in 1918. Republican in politics.
