Representative from Fremont county, was born April 21, 1874, in Thurman where he still resides. His parents were Wm. J. and Nancy Thorpe Holloway. He received a high school education supplemented by work in Tabor College and later in Drake University. Was married in 1898 to Miss Stella Nix of Hamburg. They have three children, Marguerite, Charles and William. His business is stock and grain farming. Has always taken a lively interest in politics, was president of the board of education and member of the town council. A member of the Methodist Episcopal church, a Knight of Pythias, a Mason. Elected in 1918. A democrat in politics.
