Representative from Kossuth county, was born in Lafayette county, Wisconsin, December 17th, 1867. He came to Iowa with his parents in 1882 and settled on a farm in Wright county where he resided until 1899 when he moved to Algona, Kossuth county, and formed the law firm of "Harrington & Dickinson" of which he is still a member. He secured his legal education in the University of Iowa, was city attorney of Algona for two years and county attorney of Kossuth county for four years. County food administrator and chairman of county council of defense during the world war. Elected representative in 1916. Re-elected in 1918. A republican in politics.
