Representative from Lucas county, was born September 28, 1862, in Mason county, Illinois. Father was born in Armagh, Ireland, of Scotch parentage. Mother born in Illinois of American parentage. Moved to Norwood farm in 1868, where he now resides. Has been engaged in breeding and importing pure bred horses, sheep and Shorthorn cattle all of his life. Was a student of Simpson college, class '85. Member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity. Representative to Grand Lodge in 1912-13, I.O.O.F. Married to Amy E. Puderbaugh, January 1, 1890. Elected in 1918 and 1920. A republican in politics.
