Was elected auditor of Montgomery county in 1900, again in 1902 and 1904. In 1906 he engaged in the real estate and insurance business at Red Oak, Iowa. Elected representative in 1916, again in 1918 and 1920. Republican in politics.

Representative from Montgomery county, was born in Stanton, Iowa, in 1870. Received his early education in the district schools, and later attended the graded school at Stanton, Iowa. In 1892 he entered the mercantile business and continued the same until 1900, when he was elected auditor of Montgomery county. Was re-elected in 1902 and 1904, and in 1906 he accepted the position of assistant cashier of the First National Bank of Red Oak, Iowa. In 1907 he entered the real estate and insurance business. Was married in 1893 to Emma E. Wallin, of Page county, Iowa, and has two daughters, Myrtle and Dorothy. Elected representative in 1916. Re-elected in 1918. Republican in politics.

Representative from Montgomery county, was born in Stanton, Montgomery county, Iowa, July 20th, 1870, of Swedish parentage. His early education was acquired in the district schools, and later attended the graded school at Stanton, Iowa. Was married to Miss Emma E. Wallin in 1893. The family consists of two daughters. From 1892 to 1900 he was engaged in the mercantile business. In 1900 he was elected auditor of Montgomery county. Was reelected in 1902 and again in 1904. In 1906 he resigned from this office and became assistant cashier of the First National Bank of Red Oak, Iowa. In 1907 he engaged in the real estate and insurance business. Elected representative in 1916. A republican in politics.
