Representative from Hamilton county, was born at Randall, Iowa, January 19, 1864, and received his education in the district school. On June 4, 1889, he was united in marriage to Josephine Johnson of Benton county. To them were born eight children, four of whom are still living, Mrs. E. M. Erickson, who lives on the Henderson farm; Walter, of Sisseton; Mrs. Frances Kalsein, of Jewell; and Porter, a student at Iowa state college. Mr. Henderson was engaged in the mercantile business from 1887 to 1893, but during his entire life has been interested in farming and at the present time is a co-partner with his son-in-law in farming and the breeding of Holstein-Friesian cattle. A republican in politics.
