Representative from Clarke county, was born in Osceola, Iowa, September 11, 1868. Reared on a farm near there, receiving his education in the rural school, the Osceola high school, Simpson college, and a business course at Highland Park college. Married Ettie M. Mohler, January 22, 1895. Followed the vocation of farming until recently he retired, moving to the city of Osceola. Elected representative 1920, and re-elected 1922. A republican in politics.
