Has been engaged in farming all his life. Was married December 7, 1898, to Marcia C. Petty of Olean, N.Y. Served three terms as township assessor and two as county supervisor. Is president of the Farmers' Co-operative Elevator company of Marble Rock and has 1924 been director of the Floyd County Mutual Insurance association for a period of twenty-three years. Was elected representative in 1918 and re-elected in 1920 and 1922. A republican in politics.
