Representative from Story county, was born in that county in 1872. In 1893 he entered the auction business. He is president of the Randall Savings bank and the First Liberty Savings bank of Eagle Grove, Iowa. Also a director in the First National bank at Roland, and in the Story City National bank at Story City. Member of the board of trustees of Jewell Luther college, Jewell, Iowa. Was married September 1, 1896, to Tillie Tollefson, of St. Ansgar, Iowa. To them three children were born, Arthur, Jeanette and Erling. A republican in politics.
