Received his education in the rural and graded schools of the county. Married in 1898 to Phoebe C. Rogers of Dixon, Ill. Has three children, Robert A., Helen J. and Harold R. Has been engaged in farming all his life. Has been a member of the various farm organizations of the county. Member of school board. Member of the Congregational church. A republican in politics.
