Representative from Davis county, was born in that county February 14, 1882. Is a farmer, owning and operating his own farm. Is an ordained minister of the Christian church. A graduate of the Southern Iowa Normal school of Bloomfield and of the Chillicothe business college of Chillicothe, Mo. Has also attended Drake university. Has taught sixteen years in the public schools of Iowa and Oklahoma. Was elected clerk of the district court of Davis county in 1916 and re-elected in 1918. He is married. Elected representative in 1922. Re-elected in 1924. A democrat.
