Representative from Muscatine county, born in Stephenson county, Illinois. Educated in the public schools and the high school of Monroe, Wisconsin, coming to Iowa in 1884. Since that time he has been actively engaged in buying and selling Iowa farms and live stock. Was elected county auditor four years, supervisor five years, elected representative in 1922 and re-elected in 1924. At present a director of the American Savings bank, Muscatine, Iowa. Member of the Presbyterian church, Masonic and M. W. of A. lodges. A republican in politics.

A member of the Presbyterian church, Masonic and M. W. of A. lodges. Elected representative in 1922. A republican in politics.
