Representative from Greene county, was born in Webster county, Iowa, May 30, 1896. Graduated from the Jefferson high school in 1913. Attended the University of Iowa, receiving degrees of L.A. in 1918 and L.L.C. in 1920. Married to Elsie Hubbard of Elliott, Iowa, on February 20th, 1924. Has two children, James Francis and Elsie Jean. Is a member of the Presbyterian church, Masonic lodge and American Legion. Engaged in the practice of law in Jefferson, Iowa. A republican.
