Kaufman of Morrison, Iowa, and they have two children: William L. and Helen M., both of Grundy Center, Iowa. He has held the following offices: township clerk, county supervisor, president of Meat Producers Association of Grundy county, director of Grundy County Farmers Mutual Insurance Company, and was vice-president of the same company one year. He is also president of the Farmers Savings bank of Morrison, Iowa. Occupation: farmer and stockman. He served in the thirty-seventh and thirty-eighth general assemblies besides the present forty-fifth. A republican.
