Representative from Linn county, was born on a farm near Cedar Rapids, February 14, 1881, and has lived in Linn county all his life, where he received his education in the public schools. Was married to Letitia M. Quass in 1906. Has always been actively engaged in farming and stock raising and is now a breeder of purebred Duroc Jersey swine. He was a member of the forty-third and forty-fourth general assemblies and re-elected to the forty-fifth in 1932. A republican.
