Representative from Ringgold county, was born near Orient, Iowa, Adair county, August 31, 1887, where he grew to manhood. Graduated from Orient high school in 1906, afterwards attended Drake University. In 1909 he moved to Fillmore, where he lived five years. In 1912 he was united in marriage to Miss Jessie Wade. In 1913 he moved to Benton, Iowa, where he has since been engaged in business. A member of forty-fourth general assembly and re-elected to the forty-fifth. A democrat.
