Representative from Bremer county, was born on a farm in Fayette county, December 26, 1882. He attended rural school until he entered high school at Hawkeye where he graduated and after graduation he served for two years as an apprentice in pharmacy. He is a graduate of the Highland Park school of pharmacy in Des Moines. He passed the state board of pharmacy in April, 1905. Mr. Sorg has been continuously engaged in the practice of pharmacy for the past thirty years, and for the past seven years has been located at Tripoli, Iowa. He was united in marriage in 1908 to Clara B. Bopp and they have two sons, Nathan F. and Robert C. He is a member of the Masonic order. Serving his first term in the legislature. A democrat.
