Audubon. Representative from Audubon county, was born in Poweshiek county, Iowa, February 14, 1869. Moved with his parents when twelve years of age, to Audubon, Iowa, where he has since resided. Received his education in the Audubon public schools. Has been engaged in farming continually until recent years. During this time he has served as township trustee and six years as county supervisor. Was married March 11, 1896, to Belle Hunt, of Dallas county, Iowa, and they have four children, Clark H., Vera, Inez, and Alice. Is a member of the M. E. church, Masonic order, and Eastern Star. Serving second term in the legislature. A republican.
