On July 2, 1921 married to Margaret Green of Council Bluffs, and has two children. Served in ammunition train, World war. Member of American Legion, Elks club and Masonic fraternity. Engaged in mail order business, dealing with theatre advertising accessories since 1926. First time to hold public office. A democrat.
