Was married in June, 1917, to Josephine Kanne and they have seven children; Denis, Alfred, Leola, Margaret, Ruth, Richard and Rita. He has always been actively interested in community affairs, having been president of the county farm bureau and a member of the county corn-hog control association. Member of Catholic church and Knights of Columbus. Serving second term in legislature. A democrat.
