Tripoli Bremer County Republican. Born in Fayette county, Iowa, September 24, 1887. Attended the public schools in Hawkeye. Married to Emma Sorg in 1912; father of one son. In the banking business about eighteen years. Four years ago moved to Tripoli, where he engaged in the theater business. Member of the Congregational church, Masonic lodge, Commandery, and civic organizations. Serving first term in the legislature.
