Iowa City Johnson County Republican. A son of Sam T. and Hazel Frisbie Morrison, born in Iowa City, Iowa, July 31, 1914. He attended the Iowa City schools in Iowa City and graduated from the State University with a B.A. degree in 1935, and a J.D. degree in 1937. Also has a degree from the U.S.F. and G. Bonding school in Baltimore, Maryland. He entered law practice in 1937 in Iowa City. Married to Betty Jane Coultas of Moline, Illinois, in 1938. He is affiliated with the Beta Theta Pi, college social fraternity, and the Phi Alpha Delta, legal fraternity. Serving first term in the legislature.
