Oskaloosa Mahaska County Republican. Born in Noble county, Ohio, August 27, 1867. Came to Iowa in November, 1884. In 1892, associated with the William Burnside Lumber Yard at Oskaloosa, has continued the same business since that time. Also owns and operates a lumber and elevator business at Wright. A member of the Presbyterian church and the K. of P. Lodge No. 58 of Oskaloosa. Serving first term in the legislature.
