Audubon, Audubon County Democrat. Born on a farm in Audubon county, June 14, 1874. Attended Audubon high school and Iowa State College at Ames. Graduated from the law department of Drake University in 1897. Admitted to the bar same year. Engaged in the practice of law at Audubon with his son, Mel M. Graham. Served three terms as county attorney and has been mayor of Audubon. Was county chairman of the IERA, resigning to become a candidate for the legislature. Served as a member of the state board of law examiners for several years. Married to Anne Kroeger in 1899; father of three daughters and one son.
