Sigourney Democrat Keokuk County Born in Sigourney, Iowa, February 14, 1915. Educated in the Sigourney schools and graduated from Drake University, receiving a law degree. Previously attended the liberal arts college of the University of Iowa for three years. Has practiced law with his father, Harry Snakenberg, at Sigourney since July 1, 1940. Married. Member of the First Presbyterian church of Sigourney, Masonic and Odd Fellows lodges and Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. Serving first term in legislature.
