Greeley Delaware County Republican Born September 3, 1901, near Greeley, Iowa, on the farm where he now resides, son of Arthur J. and Nann (Sawyer) Parker. Educated in the rural schools of Delaware county and graduated from Greeley high school. Attended Upper Iowa University and Rutgers University of N. J. Volunteered and served in the Ambulance Corps during the World War. Employed by Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in Chicago. Married to Doris Christler of Aurora, Iowa, January 2, 1926. Farmer and producer of game birds and hunting dogs. General agent for Iowa Farm Mutual Insurance Company in Delaware county. Served as Delaware County Farm Bureau treasurer, 1940-41. Serving first term in legislature.
