Married to Ethel Greenway of Pleasantville, Iowa, in 1928; father of one son, Peter Denne. A member of Masonic lodge, Consistory, Lions club, Delta Tau Delta, Phi Alpha Delta and Reformed church. Serving second term in legislature.
