Was part time instructor in Law College, State University of Iowa, in 1930 and 1932. County attorney of Iowa county two terms. A member of the Christian church; Masonic lodge; Order of the Coif, honorary legal scholastic society; Phi Delta Theta, social fraternity; and Phi Delta Phi, legal fraternity. Serving second term in the legislature.
