Educated in Des Moines schools and a graduate of the Drake University Law School with the degree LL.B. Member of the University basketball, track and football teams. Captain of the track team, 1925. Captain of the football team, 1924. Married Stella Lenore Meier and has one child, Carol Lynn. Practicing attorney in the city of Des Moines during the past eighteen years. Member of the city of Des Moines legal department, 1938-1942. Chairman of official board of University Church of Christ. Member of Masonic bodies.
