Sutherland O'Brien County Republican. Born May 6, 1899, on a farm near Glidden, Carroll county, Iowa, son of Charles A. and Edna Nichols Noble. Graduated from Glidden high school, attended the University of Iowa and graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1925. Member Alpha Tau Omega and Sigma Delta Chi. Enlisted in the United States Navy in World War I. Married Louise Loving of Fowler, Colorado, in 1922. Newspaper publisher and farm owner. Past Commander of Sutherland Post, American Legion; member of Sutherland town council ten years. A member of Methodist church, a Mason and Knights of Pythias. Serving first term.
