McCulloch, who served in the 20th general assembly from Jasper county, Iowa. Attended rural school and high school in Jasper county. Graduate in agricultural economics from Iowa State college. Married to Mildred Johnston of Stockport, Iowa, in 1935. Father of two children, Jon Allen and Lynda Carol, and a foster daughter, Patricia Margaret. Engaged in school work for eleven years. Entered theatre circuit business in 1936. Member of the Masonic and B.P.O.E. lodges, the Rotary club, Chamber of Commerce. Serving second term.
