Charter Oak Crawford County Democrat Born on a farm in Crawford county, Iowa, May 8, 1888. He is still living in same section where he was born. Received his education in the public schools of Crawford county. Married to Elize Teut of Crawford county in 1912. Has three children, Paul A. Jr., Lt. Ruth, who is an army nurse serving in the South Pacific, and Lois Louise. Mrs. Kuhlmann deceased in 1939. He has been interested in farming and feeding of livestock all his life. He is a charter member of the Farm Bureau. Has served as an officer of Banking, Cooperative Oil, and Lumber Companies. Member of the Lutheran church. Serving his first term.
