Graduate work in educational administration at Stanford in summer of 1926 and at Chicago university summer of 1927. Teacher in Toledo, Ohio, in fall of 1927; since then at the Ottumwa high school. Married Evelyn Stevens of Sidney, Montana, in 1928. Two children, Richard, 16, and Ruth, 15. Member of Y.M.C.A., American Legion, Presbyterian church. Served in 48th and 50th General Assemblies.
