Iowa City Johnson County Democrat Son of James and Lena Krall, pioneer farmers of Johnson county. Born in Johnson county, August 5, 1884, and has spent entire life there. Educated in the schools of Johnson county. Taught in rural schools of county for four years. Principal occupation has been farming, but retired in March, 1946. Has been township clerk, township assessor, Farm Bureau board director, and member of board of supervisors for eight years. Married 1910 to Mae Hotka. Father of seven children, four boys, Ralph, Richard, Donald, Joseph; three girls, Dorothy, Berniece, Marian. Member Knights of Columbus; Loyal Order of Moose; St. Wenceslaus Catholic church. Served 52nd G.A. Now resides at 402 N. Dodge St., Iowa City.
