Monmouth Jackson County Republican Born at Bellevue, Iowa, February 24, 1894. Educated in Dubuque and Maquoketa public schools. Graduated from Chicago Veterinary college with degree of D.V.M. Practiced at Arlington, Iowa. Moved to Chicago and organized the Chicago Imprinting company. Moved back to Iowa in 1942. Lives on farm near Monmouth. Married Alice Bell and had two children; Carol Alice of Chicago and Walter W., lost in World War II. Member of the Masonic order, Knights Templar and Shrine. Serving first term.
