Has lived on present farm for 28 years. Married to Jennie Elizabeth Duncan on November 22, 1911. Father of five children; Kenneth, a county extension director; Wilma, a senior at Iowa State college; Lyle, operator of home farm; Marvin, discharged from the United States Army in December after two years service in the Pacific; Marilyn, at home attending rural school. Charter member of the Page County Aberdeen Angus Breeders' Association and one of four members of the firm, Pagemere Angus Farms. Affiliated with the United Presbyterian church of Clarinda. Serving second term.
