Graduated Ackley high school, attended Ellsworth college at Iowa Falls; graduated from Drake university in Des Moines with degree of LL.B.; married Jessie F. Reissner of Des Moines, November 30, 1899, who is now deceased; has daughter, Helen M. Jones, and two sons, Phillip W. Bryson and J. Robert Bryson. Was city attorney of Iowa Falls for many years; county attorney Hardin county, 1910-16. Member Bureau Military Affairs during World War I; State Commander Iowa S.U.V.; member State Bar Association; A.F. & A.M.; K. of P.; Rotarian; Republican County Chairman Hardin county for 22 years. In active practice law in Iowa Falls. Serving fourth term in the House.
