Onawa Monona Co. Republican Born May 30, 1897, at Shenandoah, Iowa. Educated in public schools of Shenandoah, and graduated from Des Moines College of Pharmacy. Married to Annis Falk and father of one son and one daughter. Served in U.S. Navy during World War I. Served on the city council, commander of American Legion, member of the school board, past president of the Iowa Pharmaceutical Association. Served three years on the Board of Pharmacy, member of A.F. & A.M., V.F.W., O.E.S., Kiwanis club, American Legion, Scottish Rite 32nd Degree Mason, and member of the Congregational church.
