Spirit Lake Dickinson County Republican Born September 5, 1905, Des Moines, Iowa. Educated in Des Moines public schools and at Iowa State college at Ames. Engaged in newspaper, advertising, and sales promotional work throughout the middle west until entering United States Army in World War II. Member of Masonic bodies, Rotary, American Legion, Phi Delta Theta fraternity. Farm owner and manager. First term.
