Bedford Wayne County Republican Born in Adair county, July 30, 1901. Attended Bridgewater public schools, graduating in 1918. Attended Highland Park College of Pharmacy, graduating in 1920. Moved to Bedford in 1921. Married in 1922 to Sara Steward. Father of three children, Betty, Patsy and Jerry. Owner of Pote Drug company since 1931. Member of board of education for ten years, Taylor Lodge, Triangle chapter and Moila Shrine. Also member of Methodist Church in Bedford. Serving first term.
