Thurman Fremont County Democrat Born on a farm near Thurman, Iowa, on August 28, 1885, son of William and Rachel Leeka. Received education in Thurman high school and at University of Omaha, Nebraska, Law school. Has served as Mayor of Thurman and as Justice of the Peace. Engaged in the practice of law and in operating farms. Now acting as Fremont county chairman of Democratic Party. Serving first term.
