Nashua Chickasaw County Democrat Born September 4, 1883, in Richland township, near Nashua, Iowa. Youngest son of a pioneer family of eleven children. Educated in the public schools of Chickasaw county, and Iowa State Teachers College at Cedar Falls. Farm owner and operator. Retired to his Nashua home seven years ago. Was secretary of the local schools 25 years, assessor of Richland township 20 years. Has been director of Nashua Big 4 Fair 14 years. Member of Farm Bureau, Masonic lodge, O. E. S. and Methodist church. Married in 1907 to Pearl Yates of Hamburg, Iowa. Family consists of two children, Wendell and Dorothy, and five grandchildren. Serving third term.

Retired to his Nashua home five years ago. Was secretary of the local schools for 25 years and held the office of township assessor 20 years. Has been a director of the Big 4 Fair at Nashua the Past 12 years. Is a 32nd degree Mason, member of the O.E.S. and member of the Methodist Church. Married Miss Pearl Yates of Hamburg, Iowa, on June 1, 1907, and they are parents of two grown children, Wendell and Dorothy. Serving his second term.

Is a 32nd degree Mason, a member of the Nashua Methodist church and lives in the town of Nashua. Married Miss Pearl Yates of Hamburg, Iowa, on June 1, 1907, and they are the parents of a grown son and daughter. Serving his first term.
