Audubon Audubon County Republican L. Dee Mallonee was born December 3, 1889, in Malden, Illinois, the son of John W. and Sarah A. Mallonee. Attended Simpson College where he received his A.B. degree in 1912. M.A. degree, University of Wisconsin, 1913 and degree in Law in 1918. He served in World War I and following the war served seventeen years in the Iowa national guard. He is engaged in the practice of law at Audubon, Iowa, and in the operation of dairy, livestock feeding and seed production programs on his farms. He was married in 1913 to Faye Chamberlin of Glenwood, Iowa. He has one son, John D., now associated with him in the practice of law, and three grandsons, John, Michael and James. He is a member of the Methodist church; Epsilon Sigma, honorary fraternity; Alpha Tau Omega, social fraternity; and Phi Alpha Delta, legal fraternity.
