G. M. LUDWIG Tiffin Johnson County Republican Born near Stevens, Pennsylvania, October 11, 1896. Son of George S. and Emma Ludwig. Graduated from Ephrata high school. Spent one year in Mount Union College; three years Westmar College, LeMars, Iowa; two years Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio; one year Ohio State University; one semester Iowa State University. Married Alice G. Heim of Dawson, Nebraska, in 1923. Father of three sons and three daughters: Lt. George H., U.S. Airforce, Roswell, N.M.; Robert B. of I.S.C; Dean, farm hand near Tiffin; Phyllis J. of Beech Fork Center Mission School, Kentucky; Genevieve R. of North English, Iowa, a teacher in public schools; and Nona L. of Tiffin. Spent eight years in the active ministry; twenty-three years as superintendent of city schools; and is at present farm editor of KXIC radio station in Iowa City. Member Evangelical United Brethren church. Serving second term.
