Married Alice G. Heim of Dawson, Nebraska, in 1923. Father of three sons and three daughters: Lt. George H., U.S. Airforce, Roswell, N.M.; Robert B. of I.S.C; Dean, farm hand near Tiffin; Phyllis J. of Beech Fork Center Mission School, Kentucky; Genevieve R. of North English, Iowa, a teacher in public schools; and Nona L. of Tiffin. Spent eight years in the active ministry; twenty-three years as superintendent of city schools; and is at present farm editor of KXIC radio station in Iowa City.
