Carroll Carroll County Republican Born in Gjern, Denmark to Elizabeth and Jens S. Kudsk, July 20, 1892. Graduated from public school in 1906 and then served as an apprentice in merchandising. In 1910 he came to the United States and worked in a store at Elba, Nebraska. Married Ann Fransen, daughter of Christine and C. J. Fransen of Elba, Nebraska. To this union was born a son, Russell, who is married, lives in Denver, Colorado and is a merchandising engineer. In 1918 Mr. Kudsk joined the J. C. Penney Company at Grand Island, Nebraska. In 1926 he opened the J. C. Penney store at Carroll where he stayed until his retirement in July of 1952. He is a member of the Presbyterian church and all the Masonic bodies, including the Shrine. Serving first term.
